ISPs that host the most malicious Web sites

Interested in which ISPs are hosting the most insidious Web sites on the Internet? The organization StopBadware.org has a list for you.

The organization, launched by Harvard University, Oxford University and Consumer Reports, analyzed 49,296 Web sites submitted by trusted third parties and boiled it down to a list fingering five Web-hosting companies whose servers they say are infested with malware-spewing sites.

According to the StopBadware.org blog, they are:

– iPowerWeb, Inc. (10,834 sites)

– Layered Technologies (2,513)

– ThePlanet.com Internet Services, Inc. (2,056)

– Internap Network Services (1,437)

– CHINANET Guangdong province network (786)
